What is PHYSiMATICS
PHYSiMATICS is more than a tutoring company—it's a high-performance STEM education system designed to help students become confident problem-solvers and independent thinkers.
Founded in 2017, PHYSiMATICS has evolved from one-on-one tutoring into a growing educational ecosystem that combines expert instruction, digital learning materials, and structured learning systems to produce measurable academic outcomes. Today, students from multiple countries have used PHYSiMATICS to strengthen their understanding of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Statistics, and related STEM disciplines.
At the heart of PHYSiMATICS is a simple belief:
Students learn best when they actively solve problems, receive meaningful feedback, and continuously apply what they learn.
Whether you're looking for Online Tutoring, Learning Materials, or opportunities to Teach It! or Do It!, PHYSiMATICS is committed to helping learners achieve their full potential through structured, outcome-driven education.
The PHYSiMATICS Method
The PHYSiMATICS Method builds understanding and independent problem-solving through structured, problem-first lessons.
Lessons use Characteristic Problems, theory, a Recipe for Success, and Reinforcement Problems. Timed assessments and feedback prepare students for new challenges.
Three frameworks guide learning:
CIRCLE — WHAT: Link problems, theory, practice, and feedback.
MASTER — HOW: Turn knowledge into transferable skills.
SOLVER — WHY: Solve unfamiliar problems independently.
Our Philosophy
Everything we do at PHYSiMATICS is guided by a simple philosophy:
Learning should be structured, practical, and focused on developing genuine understanding.
Students learn best through active problem-solving, feedback, and real progress—not memorization. This philosophy guides all PHYSiMATICS lessons, resources, and educational initiatives.
Our educational philosophy emphasizes:
-
Problem-solving before memorization
-
Application before repetition
-
Continuous improvement through feedback
-
Confidence built through practice
-
Learning that prepares students for real-world challenges
The Vision
PHYSiMATICS was founded with a vision extending beyond traditional tutoring.
We aim to create a globally recognized STEM education system that develops thinkers, problem-solvers, and professionals through structured, measurable learning. By uniting instruction, assessment, digital resources, and technology, we support lifelong learning, practical skills, and growth while helping students reach their potential.
Our vision focuses on:
-
Expanding access to quality STEM education through innovative digital resources
-
Training educators, creating opportunities to learn and teach, and building practical learning pathways
About the Founder
PHYSiMATICS was founded by an educator dedicated to helping students master challenging STEM subjects through structured, practical, and engaging instruction.
With expertise in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Statistics, experience at the University of British Columbia Tutoring Centre, and nearly a decade of tutoring and curriculum development, Bret Klein created the PHYSiMATICS Method to make complex concepts easier to understand and apply.
Bret emphasizes critical thinking, independent problem-solving, and real-world application over memorization. Today, they guide PHYSiMATICS' educational direction, developing learning systems and initiatives for students and educators worldwide.
